KYMI SINFONIETTA IS RECRUITING A SOLO CELLIST FOR A PERMANENT POSITION.

The salary will be determined in accordance with the relevant collective agreement (KVTES). A requirement for playing chamber music is included in the position. We hope that the applicants possess good co-operation and interaction skills.

The audition will be held on Friday, March 18th, 2022 at the Kotka Concert Hall (address Keskuskatu 33, Kotka)
beginning at 12:00. The orchestra will provide an accompanist
for the audition, but you may also use another accompanist at your own expense. The audition can include chamber music assignments.

Audition assignments:
1. J. Haydn: Cello Concerto nr 2 in D major,
first movement with cadenza
2. A. Dvorák: Cello Concerto in B minor, first movement OR
R. Schumann: Cello Concerto in A minor, first movement
3. Orchestra and chamber music excerpts, which can be ordered
from tuomas.vanhalakka@kymisinfonietta.fi from
the 18th of February onwards.
