Violoncello (deputy concertmaster violoncello): full-time job

An accompanist will be provided by the theatre on request.
We will send orchestral parts on request.
Qualification:
• Adequate musical skills and instrumental technique.
• Education: academy, conservatory or another school of the same level.
Audition repertoire:
• 1st movement with cadenza from any classical solo concerto (J. Haydn, L. Boccherini)
• one andante and one allegro movement from any romantic concerto or from any concerto from 20th century.
• Solo parts: G. Verdi – Rigoletto, Act 2, No. 9 – Rigoletto’s aria; G. Puccini – Tosca, Act 3 – solo violoncello from the quartet; P. I. Tchaikovsky – Swan Lake, Act 2, No. 13
• Orchestral parts: G. Verdi: Requiem, No. 3, Offertorium and Sanctus (highlighted parts); B. Smetana – The Bartered Bride (overture); P. I. Tchaikovsky – Eugene Onegin, Act 1, No. 8 andante mosso
