Canton Symphony Orchestra announces the following vacancy beginning in the 2022-2023 season
SECTION CELLO
(approx. 25-45 services per season)
along with possible unconducted
Ensemble services (String, Mixed Ensembles, etc.)
Auditions will be held Monday, September 19, 2022, from 10:30am – 3:00pm in Umstattd Per-forming Arts Hall, 2323 17th St. NW, Canton, OH 44708. Preliminary auditions will be held 10:30am – 1:30pm, with the final round beginning immediately after.
The per service rate for the Section Cello position is $115.34, plus 5.995% pension contributions (AFM-EPF). Per service rate for the first daily Ensemble service (up to an hour period) is $85.00. Some services require daytime availability.
