The European Foundation for Support of Culture is happy and proud to introduce the 3rd edition of “Classic Strings” Cello International Competition 2022.
Following two highly successful incarnations of the festival, first in Riga in 2018 and then in Vienna in 2019, this third edition in 2022 will bring together some of the finest young string players from around the world in a celebration of virtuosity and friendly competition.
We would like to invite you to take part in this prestigious International Competition for Cello with a total Prize Fund of €105,000.
The Cello Competition will be held from the 9th till the 19th of May 2022 in Tel Aviv, Israel. The Competition is open to applicants of all nationalities. Applicants must be not older than 35 years at the date of the opening ceremony of the competition (9th of May 2022).
The Application deadline is 10th March 2022.
