The Yehudi Menuhin School is seeking to appoint an engaging and enthusiastic cello teacher to provide lessons for our Virtual Menuhin School (VMS) cellists.

During this exciting time of growth and development, this is a unique opportunity for a cellist with experience of teaching to the highest standard and an ambition to work with young musicians in the transformative early stages of their musical development.

The successful candidate will work as a core team member of The Yehudi Menuhin School’s Virtual Menuhin School as we continue to build and grow this programme, offering opportunities to work with us in other branches of our developing Early Years & Juniors programmes. The Virtual Menuhin School programme has been running for just over 18 months and is preparing for a wider public launch in late July, giving young musicians from across the globe access to our specialist music community.

Those considering applying should be keen to work with young pupils, aged from 7 years to 18 years old who show strong musical promise. You will be a passionate advocate for the instrument, with the patience to inspire and engage young cellists in both one-to-one virtual lessons and group classes. VMS Tutors will guide and encourage pupils’ progress toward achieving the highest levels of musical attainment.
