In collaboration with the Haute école de musique de Genève, the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande proposes a training programme leading to a Diploma of Advanced Studies in orchestral performance awarded by the University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland.
The training will be given by both institutions with the objective of deepening and broadening professional skills in the field of orchestral performance (symphonic and operatic), to maximize students’ chances of success for orchestra auditions.
Curriculum
Starting 01.09.2023, the study programme of 900 hours over 12 months consists of two modules:
1) an internship at the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande
Remuneration (gross): CHF 30’000.-.
2) an academic studies programme at the HEM with two teaching modules
Tuition fee: CHF 4’500.-
Conditions of Participation
– Candidates should be aged 29 or under on 30.04.2023 and
– Hold a master’s degree in performance or an equivalent qualification.
