Exceptional cellists are invited to submit an expression of interest for the permanent position of Section Principal Cello.

This position is a full-time position and is open to both Australian and non-Australian residents willing to relocate to Brisbane, Queensland.

Interested musicians are encouraged to submit a CV with relevant contact details and experience as soon as possible. The panel will begin assessing applications immediately upon receipt. Selected candidates may be asked to provide a recording to support their expression of interest.

Following an initial shortlisting process, a small number of musicians may be invited to Brisbane for a pre-trial, including three to four weeks of orchestral performance and presentation of set audition repertoire live for the audition panel. This Recital may be recorded for reference throughout the process. Following the conclusion of all pre-trials, a full trial may be offered to the preferred candidate.
