Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava invites applications for the position of
Tutti Violoncello

The auditions will be held on 17. 05. 2023 in SND new building on Pribinova 17, 819 01 Bratislava

Applicants are kindly requested to submit their applications including:
1. Brief professional cv;
2. A copy of the highest attained degree certificate in music (minimum degree requirement is conservatory or – in case of schools outside Slovakia, a degree from a secondary school in a given specialty) , or a certificate of current university studies in a given specialty;
3. Personal data processing (GDPR) consent. (a permit written in the application mail)

Audition repertoire:
• The first movement with cadenza from one of the concertos below:
• J. Haydn: Concert in C major,
• J. Haydn: Concert in D major,
• L. Boccherini: Concerto B major
• a piece of free choice (should be not from the classical period),
• required excerpts from the standard repertoire available at the following link: https://snd.sk/konkurzy-na-umelcov,
• sight reading.

Should candidates require a répétiteur to be provided by the SND free of charge, they are kindly asked to send the request along with the application. Candidates are also welcome to bring their own piano répétiteur at their own expense.
We offer the winning candidate a starting salary from Euro 1,390 + artistic and personal bonuses + 1-week extra leave in addition to the legally set vacation.
