Mikkeli city orchestra is a 12 musician professional string orchestra. Solo cellist works as the cello section leader.
Beginning 2.1.2023 or as agreed.
Salary 2850 €/kk (Terms of contract are regulated in the musician’s collective labor agreement)

Audition on Saturday 26th of November 2022 at 11:00 in Concert and Congress hall Mikaeli (Sointukatu 1, 50100 MIKKELI)
Audition repertoire:
– Joseph Haydn: Cello concerto No 2 D major 1st movement with cadenza
– A romantic concerto: 1st movement with cadenza
– one movement (not Prelude) of J.S. Bach’s solo cello suites I-IV
– orchestral excerpts and chamber music piece which will be sent to applicants by email after application deadline
