The following permanent, full-time position will be auditioned by the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra:

TUTTI CELLO

This position is only open to Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents of Australia, or New Zealand Citizens.

KEY DATES

Applications open: 15 March 2022
Excerpts released for auditions: Tuesday 3 May 2022, or four weeks before a confirmed recording date. No excerpts will be released earlier than 22 March 2022
Applications close for live auditions: Tuesday 17 May 2022, 4pm
Final deadline for recording submissions: Two days following a confirmed recording date, as per Recorded Audition Guidelines
Audition date: Tuesday 31 May 2022

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

Set Works (all to be performed with piano accompaniment):

First Movement (including cadenza) of either Haydn C or D major concertos

AND

First movement of a romantic concerto

AND

Orchestral Excerpts
