Stock Gifts
This year, CelloBello’s work is going to matter more than ever before, and we need your help to plan ahead for whatever the future holds.
We’d like to share with you a powerful method of giving that can make a huge difference for CelloBello in its mission to nurture and strengthen individual cellists and a global cello community, without breaking your bank.
Do you own appreciated stocks? Stock gifts present a great opportunity to support CelloBello, because your gift is mutually beneficial — we receive the full value of the stock, while you avoid paying capital gains tax AND a deduction for a charitable donation.
Many of our supporters are choosing to donate stock this year. Will you join them?
Just fill out this form and a CelloBello staff member will be in touch shortly to discuss with you the next steps.
Qualified Charitable Distributions from your IRA (QCDs)
For those of you who are 70 ½ years of age and older, this is an excellent way to satisfy your required minimum distribution while helping CelloBello provide everyone a global cello community and equal access to the highest quality musical instruction, inspiration and interaction.

Donor Advised Funds (DAFs)
At CelloBello, we recognize that donors are making more grants from Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) than ever before. Through your Donor Advised Fund, you can contribute cash, publicly traded securities, stocks, cryptocurrencies, mutual funds, or non-publicly traded assets. While CelloBello offers all of these options directly, we welcome DAF grants as well.
If you would like to give to CelloBello from your Donor Advised Fund, or would like more information on this method of giving, please complete this form.
Planned Gifts: Creating your Legacy
In addition to protecting those you love, I want to share one powerful way you can support CelloBello in your estate plans that will cost you nothing during your lifetime — making a gift in your will. It’s an important way to secure the work of our organization for years to come, and allows you to create a legacy with a cause that is close to your heart.
Gifts by bequest
Making a legacy gift in your will or trust is one of the easiest and most popular ways to partner in the mission.
Here are the most common ways that people make a lasting gift to CelloBello:
- Residual bequest
A percentage of the remainder of your estate after other specific legacies have been fulfilled. - Specific bequest
A specific dollar amount, stated fraction of your estate or specified gift-in-kind such as collections, art, books, jewelry, etc. - Contingent bequest
A gift that is originally intended for other beneficiaries but, in the event of their prior passing, is redirected as a charitable donation.
If you are interested in designating CelloBello as a beneficiary in your estate planning, or are interested in learning more about how joining the CelloLegacy Society through bequests, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts or charitable lead trusts, complete this form.
