Big Noise Wester Hailes are looking for a Musician/Teacher (Lower Strings) to join their team in our newest Big Noise Centre in Edinburgh.

You will be part of a team who work with children from pre-school, primary school and adults. The team will be creative in designing and introducing new ways of learning as we use orchestras/ensembles to grow children’s confidence, respect, aspiration, drive and understanding. As part of the team you will develop innovative ways to engage children and families, including home visits and community performances.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, experience of working with large and varied groups of children is essential, along with a track record of success in giving music instruction to children on your specialist instrument.

This is a permanent, working 4 days a week (Tuesday to Friday) all year round.
