This special evening is sponsored by Helen Zell to benefit CelloBello
Join us for an enchanting evening filled with beautiful melodies and harmonious collaborations at The Arts Club of Chicago.
Immerse yourself in the world of chamber music in this intimate setting as Pacifica Quartet and Balourdet Quartet come together to create a breathtaking performance of a classical masterpiece, Felix Mendelssohn’s Octet in E-flat major, op. 20. Scored for a double string quartet, it is as unexpected as it is brilliantly innovative. To add to your delight, enjoy additional performances by Chicago Symphony Orchestra cellists Katinka Kleijn, Kenneth Olsen and Brant Taylor. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the magic of live music in an intimate and captivating setting.
You may notice that CelloBello looks a little different right now, and that new content and updates have temporarily slowed. That’s intentional: behind the scenes, we are carefully preparing for CelloBello’s next chapter as part of Chamber Music America.
Our priority during this transition is to thoughtfully preserve the remarkable resources, knowledge, and community that CelloBello has built over the years while preparing a new home that will extend its reach and connect it to CMA’s national community of musicians, ensembles, educators, presenters, and advocates.
We’re excited about what’s ahead and look forward to sharing much more soon. Thank you for your patience as this work progresses —please continue to enjoy CelloBello and check back for updates!
