The I. Grunewald International Music Competition will take place on March 1st – 11th, 2024 in the former Mendelssohn family palace in the middle of Berlin’s Grunewald.
Judged by internationally known and famous musicians, led by
Dmitry Sitkovetsky, Violin;
David Geringas, Cello;
Wilfried Strehle, Viola;
Klaus Trumpf, Kontrabass;
the competition is aimed at young talented musicians from all over the world.
Prizewinner concert will take place in the chamber Music Hall of Berlin Philhamonie on June 10, 2024.
The competition office offers accommodation in a 3 star hotel and upscale student accommodation including full board directly at the competition location in St.Michaels-Heim Castle with practice opportunities directly in the room
