The Chamber Orchestra of the Springs in Colorado Springs, Colorado is sponsoring a competitive performance opportunity for young emerging soloists in our 2022-2023 concert season. The orchestra, currently in its 38th season, is the region’s premier chamber ensemble. Under the dynamic leadership of Maestro Thomas Wilson, the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs pursues artistic vibrancy by approaching standard repertoire, forgotten gems, and new music with equal zest in an exploratory spirit.
The EMERGING SOLOIST COMPETITION aims to provide young musicians who are pursuing a performance career with an opportunity to be featured on an orchestra’s regular subscription concert series. Our organization, including our patrons and audience, look forward to hearing what the next generation of soloists bring to the concert stage in both style and repertoire choice.
One winner will be chosen to perform on one of our subscription concert series in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
