Solving Left Hand Pain – Part 1
- Doctor’s visits are sometimes needed, but doctors are unable to solve bad cello habits that can lead to tendonitis.
- We have less left hand agility, virtuosity, and power when the hand is tight.
- All fingers can be in playing position, but only the one playing should be in playing tension.
- Mentally focus on releasing the unused fingers.
- Use of arm weight to hold string down allows thumb to not squeeze up.
